Dr. Michael Orian, a native to Southern California, holds a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California. Following his undergraduate education, Dr. Orian earned his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of aturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona.

Dr. Orian has since administered over 20,000 IV therapy treatments for his patients while maintaining a primary care Naturopathic medical practice at Orian Wellness in Carlsbad, California.

Dr. Orian has published journal articles in the Journal of Immunotherapy, the Journal of Complimentary and Alternative Medicine, and the Proceedings of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. He has written multiple articles for Healthy Times and Natural News and has appeared on live and recorded segments of local San Diego news broadcasts.

He also maintains a Core Adjunct Faculty position at National University in San Diego where he teaches courses in ethics, law, management, and trends in healthcare regularly in the Department of Health Sciences. He is a member of the California Naturopathic Doctors Association (CNDA), American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), the American Association of Orthopedic Medicine (AAOM), and the American Academy of Pain Management (AAPM).


Dr. Douglas Estrada is dedicated in helping people improve their health in the most effective and least invasive ways possible, using the best of conventional and naturopathic medicine. Dr. Estrada has worked with under-privileged communities and affluent populations alike. Dr. Estrada believes everyone should be entitled to proper health care. Dr. Estrada strives to use his expertise and education and empathy to work in a paradigm that serves people and the community for the greater good. He is endlessly curious but his focus currently is functional medicine, regenerative medicine, hormone therapy, functional neurology and IV therapy.

In addition to his degree as a Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Estrada is trained in Prolotherapy and PRP; and is also a certified personal trainer! Dr. Estrada became deeply interested in naturopathic medicine when he was severely injured in a car accident and was healed and saved from a risky surgery by a natural healer from El Salvador. This set his course to explore the world of traditional medicine as well as conventional medicine to find a model that is most effective for the individual. He has come to believe that true healing comes from within the body, mind and spirit. It is indeed the patient who does the healing, and the art of the healer which facilitates this process.


Dr. Rachel Rozelle is a Primary Care Naturopathic Doctor who enjoys working with individuals of all ages but has a primary passion for Pediatric Medicine. Dr. Rozelle focuses on a variety of health concerns including but not limited to autoimmune conditions, thyroid disease, women’s medicine, gastrointestinal issues, mental health, and preconception wellness.

As a Naturopathic Pediatric Doctor, Dr. Rozelle specializes in treating many common acute and chronic childhood conditions including asthma, allergies, rashes, constipation, and ear infections. Although Dr. Rozelle is skilled at treating a variety of childhood ailments, she is especially passionate about working with developmental pediatrics and mental health conditions such as autism, PANS/PANDAS, anxiety and depression. Her approach to treatment is not only holistic, but also individualized to every single patient who walks through her door. Dr. Rozelle specializes in classical homeopathy, botanical medicine, and clinical nutrition, but she incorporates all naturopathic modalities and principles in her practice.


Dr. Anna Tarabrina is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in the state of California. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Molecular Biology from San Diego State University in 2013. While getting her Bachelor’s degree, she did a year-long internship through the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) Stem Cell Research Program and participated in the neuronal “maps” modeling of the olfactory system in the Gage Laboratory of Genetics at the Salk Institute in La Jolla. Her research findings were published in the Journal of Neuroscience.

Dr. Tarabrina received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in San Diego, CA in 2017.

Dr. Tarabrina believes in the body’s inherent ability to heal. She concentrates on the elimination of the symptoms by addressing the underlying causes of a problem and incorporates diagnostic laboratory testing, physical exams, and advanced comprehensive evaluations to thoroughly assess patients’ health and develop a personalized treatment plan. Her primary focus is the treatment and prevention of chronic conditions like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, digestive disorders (IBS, GERD), and hormonal imbalances. Dr. Tarabrina incorporates nutritional supplementation, bio-identical hormone replacement, botanical medicine, injectable micronutrient therapy, detoxification, natural weight loss, lifestyle and diet counseling into her practice.


Dr. John Christianson is licensed in the state of California as a Naturopathic doctor. Born and raised in Minnetonka, MN he began his career path by going to massage school and becoming a certified massage therapist. After graduating he moved to Phoenix Arizona to attend Arizona State University for his pre-med bachelors in Human Health. The goal and passion for that pursuit was to attend Naturopathic Medical school at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe AZ. He is happy to call San Diego his home and avoid the long cold winters.

Dr. Christianson’s focuses of practice are in sports/ rehabilitation, environmental medicine and anti-aging. His approach to sports/ rehab therapies involves; Dynamic Fascia release, certified in functional movement taping and manual therapies. Environmental medicine is the process of appropriate system detoxification/ support and to reduce/ eliminate chemical reactivity. Anti-aging procedures include; micro-needling and scar reduction/ elimination.

Dr. Christianson is passionate about naturopathic medicine and approaches to healing. He believes in treating the cause of disease and works with diet, lifestyle, herbs, and IV nutrient therapies to bring about positive lasting changes. Living a balanced life is very important for Dr. Christianson so outside of his medical practice he enjoys; travel, cooking, trail running, obstacle races, biking and exploring his interests as he is always seeking to learn something new.


Dr. Amanda Rodriguez is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor. She holds a bachelors of science degree in Bio-Psychology & Brain States from the University of California Santa Barbara. Currently she is also pursuing a second doctorate in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and will incorporate traditional eastern healing modalities into her practice. Her specialities include physical medicine, gastroenterology, female health, metabolic health, nutrition and herbal medicine. Dr. Rodriguez holds certifications in craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, IV therapy, PROLO therapy and PRP (platelet rich plasma) facials & injections. She is also a yoga instructor, breathwork facilitator and leads meditations outside of the office.

Dr. Rodriguez is passionate about restoring the balance within the digestive system, central nervous system, hormones and mental-emotional disturbances. She focuses on digestive disorders, pain management, athletic performance and injuries, metabolic and cardiovascular conditions, anxiety, depression, neuroinflammatory conditions, fibromyalgia and chronic conditions such as hypothyroidism and autoimmune conditions. Dr. Rodriguez incorporates nutritional supplementation, dietary counseling, detoxification, herbal medicine, homeopathy, structural integrity, strength and condition exercises and nutrient IV therapy when needed.


Dr. Thomas Macsay is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in the state of California. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Arizona State University in 2013. He also holds degrees in massage therapy and cranial unwinding, with a certificate in personal training. Currently he is pursuing a second Doctorate in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. His main interests included functional movement patterns, exercise as medicine, various advanced manual therapeutic modalities, and herbal medicine.

Dr. Macsay has also been involved in planning medical conferences, planning and producing weekend retreats for medical students and doctors alike, sitting on the board of medical non-profits, and consulting for health and wellness brands as well as compounding pharmacists.

Dr. Macsay received his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in San Diego, CA in 2019. Dr. Macsay concentrates on treating chronic pain and musculoskeletal dysfunction by combining integrated physical medicine paired with a comprehensive naturopathic medical care. He also focuses on treating chronic conditions such as hormone imbalances, digestive disorders, cardiovascular disease, autoimmune disease, metabolic disease, and arthritic conditions.

Dr. Macsay incorporates regenerative injections, herbal remedies, nutritional supplementation, dietary counseling, bio-identical hormone replacement, physical medicine (cranial sacral, myofascial, NMT, ART), intravenous therapy, detoxification, natural weight loss, and structural integration. He believes in treating the underlying causes of diseases and treating the whole person, understanding that its his job to give people the tools to ultimately heal themselves.


Sandi Star is certified by The Natural Healing Institute of Naturopathy with the following Certifications: Holistic Health Practitioner, Clinical Nutrition, Clinical Master Herbology, Aromatherapy and has a Bachelors in Communications. Sandi started her practice in 2008 with a holistic approach to wellness and nutrition. She is a proud member of the American Holistic Healthcare Association and is a contributing writer.

Sandi specializes in functional nutrition and wellness with a focus on addressing the underlying triggers of inflammation and disorders by incorporating a comprehensive evaluation and laboratory testing as needed.

Sandi lost 6 dress sizes and has kept it off for over 25 years and has been gluten -free; cow dairy free for over a decade after struggling with several chronic medical conditions. Her concierge services include kitchen revamps, grocery store tours and customized wellness workshops and cooking classes. Sandi has hands on understanding of many health issues and is dedicated in creating awareness that will impact our nations focus on disease prevention with a holistic approach.


Nalei is the Office Manager at Orian Wellness, where she will be the point of contact for operations. She was born and raised in Maui, Hawaii. She is a mother of two boys and has been in San Diego for about four years. She started with getting her certificate in Medical Assistant as well as her license for Phlebotomy.


Denise is presently Sr. Front Desk Manager who has been with Orian Wellness since its inception. She is a native of California, married with two daughters and two grandsons.
